What questions do you have on race relations?

As has been stated, Black & White Blog is at its heart an open discussion of the current issues in race relations in America as seen from the eyes of both groups. There is no right or wrong opinion on any issue, nor do we seek to place blame. Rather we believe that open discussion can lead to real improvements and thus a better America for everyone.

Of course this is no small endeavor. There are many issues, some stemming from the past like reparations, some are more regional like the Jena 6, and yet others are little known and poorly covered by the media like the Megan Williams case. It is difficult to convey all of these different thoughts especially where we are unfamiliar with the issue at hand.

So the question is, are there issues that you would like to see more discussion on? Has there been an event you are aware of that deserves to be discussed? What question might you like to hear the other side of, to both gain understanding and promote improvements in the quality of life for all?

Tell us what’s on your mind. Let us know where you would like to see more focus placed. As always we will continue to bring up issues and events that are in the minds of the public. But we also know that you may have a question we have not thought of or realized has a need to be discussed.

Don’t be shy. I’m sure if there is something you’d like to know from someone another viewpoint, most likely there are dozens if not hundreds of others with the same question. This is the forum where you can ask, and get an answer.

We look forward to hearing from you, and thank you for your readership.
